Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Ministries: Liturgical & Pastoral

Liturgical Ministries: Sister Mary Lou Dummer (651)738-0677

Liturgy is worship and prayer directed to God by a gathered people.

It is a means by which God acts upon the church to make it holy. All new life given to the community flows from the liturgical celebrations. It's the very heart, the very center of parish life. The Eucharist is the soul of the church. Liturgy is the way we worship. A fundamental element of good liturgy is the need of the whole assembly to experience itself as one in worship, All of us, through our baptism as people of God, are called to holiness and all of us are called to serve as God's people. There are many, many ways we can do this, as the list below indicates. If you are being called to serve in any way, please call Sister Mary Lou.
